The Transparency Imperative - looking beyond the global crisis

I just wanted to highlight the outcomes of this year’s Annual Membership Meeting, the biggest since Transparency International has been founded, here in Berlin, 16 years ago. For the first time we had representatives from over 100 nationalities present. It was a truly inspiring experience to meet everyone, sharing experiences of projects and challenges of anti-corruption work on the ground and discuss the coming years.

Resolutions dealing with the UN Convention against Corruption, Germany’s outstanding ratification of the convention and the protection of whistleblowers were adopted and two new Board members elected. All information is available here.
