What do you think of our blog?

Last month, Transparency International’s blog “Space for Transparency” won a Digital Communication Award – Best Corporate Weblog – from the Quadriga University of Applied Sciences.

In the spirit of improvement, we want to improve the blog – with the help of you, our readers.

One thing we are thinking of doing is changing the blog’s name.

One option is the “Transparency International blog”, another is “People fighting corruption”.

Why the change?

We want our blog to focus its work on people and the human side of corruption. This blog aims to do just that: to tell the stories of corruption fighters around the world.

We also hope that more organisations fighting corruption will share their stories on the blog too.

What’s in a name?

Transparency International are best known for our global reports like the Corruption Perceptions Index. But our independent chapters carry out inspiring grass roots work in over 100 countries around the world, and we want to share this, too.

Thanks to our colleagues around the world the blog now features stories ranging from activists asking policemen to identify themselves by wearing a badge in Russia to petitions and protests to stop a national electricity company demanding bribes from people in Zimbabwe.

Today we have 135 bloggers from 40 countries. Hopefully this trend will continue in the future…if that’s what you want.
